The Toyota MR2 page at the Wikipedia has been lacking known-free images for a long time. The old images were fantastic but the uploader didn't put source information on them. Since the Wikipedia purports to be "free," they needed to be replaced.
I asked Peter about this a week or two ago, and he agreed to have his red 1991 Turbo photographed for the shoot. I told him, "sometime in a day or two."
Unfortunately, the weather turned immediately to crap. Ideally, I wanted to head out in the early afternoon when it was mostly overcast out, so there wouldn't be many shadows. It was fantastic on Sunday, but I had to run to the office around noon and by the time I was finished, it had started raining.
Today was a pretty poor day to shoot, but I had put this off long enough and just needed to get around to it.
So, we headed out to the golf course (because my first choice, the parking lot next to the Macey center, was completely packed with cars) and started shooting. Here are the highlights—of course, the shots I uploaded to the Wikipedia have been cropped and cleaned.
