I get the impression that my involvement with a "[deleted] day" event would be frowned upon by my soon-to-be superiors. In order to stay out of trouble, I'm going to call it BSD Day, because everyone knows BSD is dead.
In reality, I and another soon-to-be Microserf headed over to the BSD Day event and ate cookies (Laura rules) while joking around with the ACM krew. They had DJ SpUnk (minus the "Sp") spinning vinyl which did not exist entirely in the xy plane. MacMini action and some guy asking if he could connect his PSP to the then-unplugged wireless router rounded out the excitement.
I mean, just check that out.
Sweet.
What's even cooler is the fact that the pizza for tomorrow's underclassmen ACM programming competition came out to $128.25, or $10000000.01b. Here's Will scratching it all down.
I changed it to binary on the paper later.
