Today (OK, technically yesterday—it's late right now), I gave Aleph another bath. As you may remember, his first bath went well, but not fantastically. Survey respondants indicated that the bathtub had, "too much water" and that both the rinsing and drying processes were, "inadequate." Felines declined to comment further, giving only harsh stares before going back to licking themselves.
Really, though, things went much better this time. I used less water and made sure to rinse Aleph extra well. Additionally, I used more positive control while keeping him in the tub, and he didn't have an opportunity to jump out. He did manage to maul me once when I first put him into the tub, but I suspect it was due to his reflexes going nutty.
He was also significantly calmer and allowed me to dry him off in a towel before scampering off. In constast to last time, he was dry enough by the time he hit the living room that he didn't shiver at all.
Fantastic! And, clean kitty!
