The movers arrived today. Hurrah!
It was sortof cool, actually. They pulled up in a covered truck, and apparantely all of my stuff was actually stored inside two bigass wooden crates. They popped the sides off the crates while still on the trucks, and unloaded them from there. Here you can see most of one crate and a bit of the other.
In contrast to the unexpected New Mexico move team, this one was staffed by three big guys with fantastically crude senses of humor. I felt much more at home with these jokers.
And ... there we go. Uncrated.
