Silliness at Madrid

| | Comments (0)
This post was written after the trip ended.

This is primarily a picture post. Comments are below the shots. Here comes the pain.

This first picture features a vending machine under a "Yoghourt" sign. Now, I'm not even going to go through the effort of actually looking up yogurt to see if it can even be spelled that way—even if it can be spelled with all those damned extra letters, it's just plain fucking wrong. Seriously.

Oh, and it's a Coke machine in there.

"Phoon downstairs."

Pardon the shakey shakey. This amuses me because there's a Timberland retailer in the Madrid airport. This shit is shit in the US, and they expect Spaniards to buy it? Maybe they're selling to Germans passing through. Germans will buy anything—and the sillier, the better.

I suppose this doesn't make too much sense unless you work at Microsoft. Eurest caters all the MS cafeterias in Redmond. To actually see that the company does, in fact, have anything to do at all with anything European is something I wasn't expecting.
