Our interrupts are, indeed, interruptable

I mentioned earlier that our original plans for today had been interrupted by new plans to go to the zoo. The zoo is awesome, we reasoned, and that's enough of a reason to change our plans for today.

Unfortunately, an NMI1 popped up: it turns out that the BMW picked up a finish nail in the front passenger tire sometime in the last few days. Layla was driving the car when it turned into an unignorable issue, but thankfully, she's fine. The problem now is that the BMW has a brand-new 225/55R15 Michelin on one corner and a bunch of worn-out 205/65R15 Dorals on the others.

So we're punting our trip to the zoo until tomorrow so that I can really make sure the new tire is fine before driving the car a lot.

It's probably not the worst thing in the world that the tire is flat, because the car really needed new tires anyway. I think this is the only time I've missed Socorro since I've been gone, because I could probably get that tire patched for like $6 there. Amen, T&T.

1 Yes, I'm a giant naaaaerd2.
2 That's "nerd" if you pretend you're German and orange.
