I'm looking for new tires for the 3 since the front-passenger tire picked up a finish nail.
Has anyone run the Kumho KH11 summer touring tire? Yes, I realize it isn't summer. I already know the 3 is going to be entirely useless in the snow, and I think that putting snow tires on the back is only going to be a pain-in-the-ass for the few days that it snows here each year1.
I haven't run Kumhos in the past, but I've heard really good things about them from the RGR SCCA guys. Anyone else have anything to say about Kumho?
1 Yes, it snowed today.
Update: I forgot that Raven went through all this already. So...I'll add those to the list. Presuming, of course, I can get them in 225mm-wide tread for a 15" rim.

A guy at work just bought a set for his Subaru. He really likes them and goes on and on about his new "ho's".
I picked up a set of Ecsta ASX for the 3. They are seriously hot. They are quite a bit nicer than the goodyear eagle RSA-1's they replaced, and something like 1/3rd of the price.
I also got a cheapo set of Kumho 716's for the miata, until I can afford to get some 15" wheels. Yep. Should be something like, three years from now at the current rate of government pay increases...
November's issue of Eurotunner has the anual tire test... pick a copy.
or i guess i could summerize, Overall ranking is as follows:
1. Goodyear Eagle F1 (wet/dry)
2. Yokohama Advan Neova AD-07 (summer/dry)
3. Pirelli P-Zero Rosso (wet/dry)
4. Bridgestone Potenza REO50A (wet/dry)
5. Fuzion ZRi (cheap perfomance)
6. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 (wet/dry)
7. Continental ContiSportContact2 (wet/dry)
8. Dunlop SP Sport Maxx (wet/dry)
9. Falken Azenis RT-615 (summer/dry)
10. Toyo Proxies T1R (wet/dry)
11. Hankook Ventus S1 evo K107 (wet/dry)
12. Verdestein Ultrac (cheap performance)
13. BFG g-force T/A KD (summer/dry)
14. Kumho Ecsta MX (summer/dry)
Testing was done at the Tire Rack track with a bright red 325i. This overall rating is based on wet and dry lap, slalom, skidpad, and braking. Interestingly, note that the BFG's I ended up with are not the ones listed, I've got the G-force sports that are rated for wet and dry.
Based on this article I'd say look in to those Fuzions.
Hey! I was a hellovalot more objective in MY recommendation than EuroTuner could ever be. "Seriously hot" I said! What more proof does one need? I doubt they even used the word "seriously" in their so-called "test"!
Yeah! "Seriously!"
Hrm was the Eurotuner test comprehensive in terms of what aspects of the tires (grip, price, treadwear, etc.) that they rated? I don't think I'm into quadrupling the price of the tire (those Kumhos above are only like $60 a piece) if I'll get a few more tenths of a G in lateral grip.
No doubt I aggree, I doubt Eurotunner even knows how to spell "Seriously."
My point was to mearly mention it as I thought it was relivant and offered a rated (irrigardles of method) list with some different brands.
