Earlier today I dropped off the RAV4 at the local Toyota dealership to get some scratches buffed that were on the car when we bought it. Because we're such wonderful customers, they gave us a loaner car for the day: a completely nondescript 2005 Toyota Corolla, complete with 6-disc changer...that the previous renter had forgotten to empty.
The disc that was in there was a CD-R with Nightheart scribbled in sharpie across the top. The player was left on track 16—it turned out it was some sort of odd trucker story told by a western-sounding Megadeth...or something. The early tracks on the disc were all hip-hop, or were at least hip-hop-esque.
I didn't have too long to listen to it, as I was nearly peeing my pants with laughter from what an odd mix this was. Due to a mixup when returning the car, I've still got the disc, but it's not handy, so I'll have more information on it tomorrow night.
Searching for the name "Nightheart" brings up a local band who I suspect have some connection to this disc. Their two CDs only have 10 tracks each, however, so I'm not sure what the heck I've actually got.
Weird.
