Rob (from the office Rob) loaned me a copy of Cannonball Run late last week. What a film.
In terms of the "classic" things you'd like to see in a movie (good acting, engaging storyline, etc.) it was absolutely bare, but it was absolutely chock-full of ridiculous cars, bad puns, and bad chase scenes. And best of all? Well, it's got a Lamborghini Countach with extra lights and a goddamned spoiler on the front. Awesome.
Plus, it's got Roger Moore in an Aston Martin DB5, Jackie Chan in a Subaru hatchback, Terry Bradshaw in a primered-up GM something-or-other, and Sammy Davis Jr. playing a priest in a Ferrari 308. Oh, and Burt Reynolds. Whatever.
And all this, too, in the Land Before Bras. Watch it and you'll see what I mean.

The Countach has always been one of my favorite cars, aesthetically, but I'm weird.
