There's something to be said for being able to assemble a team of a dozen willing volunteers to help out at a conference on 10 days notice and ending up with a genuinely functional and damned effective workforce. I haven't seen this happen anywhere outside of Microsoft and I certainly didn't expect it to happen so quickly.
But I'm really fucking tired. So today, I'm going to relax.
I just realized, you might know a guy I know. He works for MS, traveling around setting up booths for conferences. He's tall, goofy and has red hair. His name is Matt Buchanan.
