For those of you who haven't yet seen this, it's required.
In 1976, Claude Lelouch made C'était un rendez-vous, a short film of a car driving through Paris at breakneck speeds. The film was shot entirely on one roll of film and is presented below completely uncut.
The sounds are, in my opninion, what make this film so exciting. It's actually not the original soundtrack—despite all the crazy maneuvering, the film was allegedly shot entirely on the front of a Mercedes-Benz 6.9. However, the audio was dubbed from Lelouch's Ferrari 275 GTB, which is certainly among the best looking cars ever built.
So watch C'était un rendez-vous above if you haven't before. It's a fantastic 8 minute ride.

...fantastic, far more believable that it was a 6.9, who would crash a 275 up on the pavement to avoid the truck, it would fall apart but a merc would just shrug it off......anyone know where the footage is of the fastest lap around the M25?...
john-
Even though we may think it's a travesty, there are plenty of people who would thrash and crash a 275 just to make an eight-minute film. It's a matter of taste, and not really something I'd argue with until we start running out of 275s.
YouTube may be the best bet for finding the M25 video. I've never heard of it, but someone may have posted it there.
