Zardoz fallout

So, because I hadn't seen it in a while (because I felt like having a good and extended gut laugh), I rented Zardoz to watch here at the house this weekend.

And while looking for images with which to illustrate this post, I accidentally left the browser open to the regular non-image web search results.

  • First up is Zardoz Business Services, a presumed subsidiary of Zardoz Systems Ltd. I found this amusing quote on Zardoz NZ's news page: Zardoz is currently investigating new technologies for scalable robust business solutions for 2002 and beyond. By the way, they let their Microsoft Certified Partner Program subscription lapse. And the most amusing part is that Zardoz Business Systems lists an address right here in Puget Sound. I may take a drive out there sometime.
  • Next is Zardoz NotWax! That's right, when you need a slippery teflon lubcricant but hate getting wax all over—call Zardoz! From the website: Zardoz offers affordable, user-friendly products for quick and easy tuning. Zardoz also sells the Pocket Puck and Speed Wipes!
  • And lastly, a list of movie screwups for those of you who actually sat through this film more than once. Wow.

Amazing!
