im pumped.

Your opinions on aftermarket tuning might make for a good article over on AA. (that is if you're looking for ideas and arent too backed up on the other queues).

On one hand the tuners are taking an engine that the top engineers designed to perform a certain way and altering its characteristics, whether it be internal pressure, operating temp, power output, etc.

On the other hand its a huge industry that often times does more R&D than the boys at the factory - sometimes influancing/changing the automotive industry form the bottom up.

I could probably write an entire book on it. The automotive aftermarket is one of the most interesting economic ecosystems out there.

Definitely a great idea—I'll chew on the idea for a while.
