Halloween traffic

| | Comments (0)

This is, for all intents and purposes, the first time I've been stuck in a major metropolis (or immediate suburb of a major metropolis) on Halloween ... during rush hour. Holy hell.

I suppose it could just be a Microsoft thing—there are lots of families that cart their tots off to the office so the kids can trick-or-treat their way down the hallways and straight to tooth decay and obesity. But whatever the reason, it took Layla and I well over an hour to make it the five or so miles from MSFT to downtown Bellevue.

This is just plain stupid. Next year, I'll do what I did last year and leave work at 3pm. Screw this nonsense.
