I've been spending quite a bit more time at the office recently, partly because I've got a lot more work to do lately, and partly because Layla has started her 20/20 program and it's convenient to stick around a few hours later and still carpool home. It's been really helpful to get caught up on the backlog I've got at work—but it's also been an average or 10 or 11 hour days.
Clearly, this has had an effect on my posting in the last few days. I haven't been too talkative and I certainly haven't had the energy to actually post, you know, illustrations with my work.
So in order to get back into my usual, err, groove, I'm going to be cutting back a bit on the excessive hours and will instead be doing things like fixing the car and ... writing about fixing the car.
Excitement.

why not just post from work? the way i used to see it, after a 9, 10, or 11 hour day of honest to god productivity with pay only for 8 hours, they owe me 20 minutes to either check personal email or post a little sum-en-something.
I think the big reason is that any 20 minute period that I'm at work and not working is 20 minutes I'd much rather be on my way home.
That would be a bit different if I had those "20 minute moments" during the day...but I usually don't. I guess it's a bonus of having a job that keeps me interested.
