Another day at LeMay

Something I didn't mention earlier about the LeMay Museum is that the vast majority of ~350 cars in their public display are American vehicles made before 1970 or so. Apart from a handful of German minicars (Isetta, KR200, etc.) and a few oddities here and there (such as the gorgeous Jaguar Mark X in the photograph), most of the cars are things like 1924 Lincolns, 1932 Plymouths, and 1958 Chevrolets.

During a trip back down there today to drop off my volunteer application, however, I learned that they've got a separate barn on the museum property devoted to motorcycles and European cars. It's not typically included in public tours (likely because the tour of the three other buildings already takes 2+ hours) but would presumably be something I could access when I volunteer.

Sweet!
