I used my Zune to play a number of Top Gear and MXC episodes on the six hours of travel1 required to get home, and I'm happy.
I think I managed to get three solid hours of video out of the Zune, which isn't bad considering I was dicking around with the pause the entire time, and hadn't even topped off the battery since leaving Seattle on Thursday.
So, that worked well. But for a longer flight, I'd be completely SOL.
And actually, the only reason I had to bust the Zune out in the first place is that I finally finished reading Bill Speidel's Sons of the Profits, a collection of stories of the growth of Seattle from its birth in 1851 through 1901. It's a fantastic book, although it probably isn't too interesting unless you're familiar with the area. And, I didn't learn a whole from the writer's style, because it's nearly identical to my own. So that was annoying.
And lastly, here's an obligatory phoon from Tucson. We're glad to be back.
1 The flight from SEA to TUS was 2.5 hours. Alaska Airlines, you rock. From TUS back to SEA? Nearly 6 hours in flights—plus a layover at DFW. American, suck it.

PHOON!
This is actually a cactus phoon, evidenced by my uncompromisingly straight left leg.
