Roll-on bed liners?

| | Comments (3)

Now that the truck is largely operational, I've got a chance to make it functional, as well.

Do any of you have experience with those roll-on bedliners (e.g. Rhinoliner)? I looked into it years ago (for, you know, coating the exterior of a VW bug) but even then wasn't able to find any information on comparative quality, durability, or longevity.

Thoughts?

I have used Rinoliner before. it worked well. Make sure you use the roll on, not the stuff in the can. Mask everything, because even though you will be rolling it on, it still splatters some, unless you are going for that look. Wear clothes that you are comfortable throwing directly in the trash. Some people go over the bedrail, some stop at the top. I like the look of it going over to top and down the fender about 1/2", but that takes some talent with masking tape.

Good call. I may crack into this later this week.

Did you use the official Rhino brand liner?

I did. However it wasnt used on a truck bed. We used it to weatherproof the roof a mobile control unit that went on the back of a duece and a half for the military.
