The bad and the good

I'm sure you've all heard about the tragic news today. There's a lot of commentary on the event, and I want to make sure I have something worthwhile to add.

In spite of all of the press that horriffic events like these get, do remember that for every killer out there, there are ten more people ready to risk their lives to save yours. And for every tragedy, there are countless untold stories of compassion and selfless humanity.

It's time to mourn, but it's important to remember that this isn't the only thing that ever happens. And when all the numbers average out, I've still got great hope for our collective journey.
