So, this is sweet: walking back from the convention center at around 11pm last night, I saw a cop car careen around a corner with his sirens on (but with headlights off) at around 60mph and go sliding across an empty intersection.
And then I spotted a black first-generation Mercedes-Benz M-class clad in about a half-dozen cameras, including one on a boom crane sticking out over the hood.
That's a picture of it, at right. You can barely see the M-class parked behind the row of motorcycle cops who were ostensibly blocking traffic so nobody ran into the movie-star cop car.
