It's honeymoon time

Well, we've taken the plunge.

...and that means it's time to get away from it all. Layla and I actually snuck away from the party on Saturday night to a secret local hotel (it turned out to be the one I stayed at for my interview at Microsoft) but it's time for us to seriously get the hell out of the area for a few days of decompression and enjoying each others' company.

Since I'm only going to let this post go live when I get back, here's a map. We're going to be driving from our house out to the Edmonds/Kingston ferry, which will take us across Puget Sound to the Kitsap peninsula. From there, we'll be driving (about 90 minutes) to Port Angeles, where we'll catch another ferry northward to Victoria, BC—which is where we'll be staying.

Inexplicably, we'll be stopping in the middle of the Strait of Juan de Fuca for stop number 23.
