Haha! It's fixed.

It appears that an errant ActiveState Perl installation option befunked my blog: sometime between my old Activestate Perl installation and the build I just installed, the ActiveState Perl people renamed their IIS extension mapping from "Perl CGI Extensions" to "Perl CGI Extension," thereby failing to preserve my existing configuration option ("Allow Perl") to the default ("Prohibit Perl"). This is dumb. Whatever.

So now we're back—and since I was in the software anyway, I went ahead and tossed a copy of Movable Type 4 in as my blog engine.

Perhaps MT4 will do better with the spam handling than MT3.3 did. So no more, you know, thread terminated.
