I've been waiting for Kenna's Make Sure They See My Face since 2005.
Well, I got a copy today (as MP3s downloaded from Amazon). About half of the tracks are really really good—and most of those were released as singles before the album debuted. But the rest are merely "good," and the album as a whole isn't nearly as groundbreaking as New Sacred Cow, which was genuinely amazing.
The mantle of brilliance is a difficult one to bear.
