I spotted this on the way back from Leavenworth.
Anyone know what the heck an interpretive trail is? It appears such things exist, but none of the links really help explain what they are.

Maybe is like interpretive dance. The trail seeks to interpret the meaning of the inherent trail rather than by performing as a specific preformatted trail.

It looks like an interpretive trail has points of interest labeled as you walk down the trail (e.g. Here is a popular mating site for the elusive mojave ground squirrel etc.)
Huh how odd. This actually makes a lot of sense where it would be...like, traveled. But this trail was out in BFE.
