I've just pulled the trigger on some shared hosting for the site. The net effect to you is that my site will be faster and won't be down nearly as often. The net effect to me is that I'm very slightly poorer, and have something fun to do while I take some mandatory vacation tomorrow.
Oh, and one other thing: I'll probably be changing the hostname where this journal is located. (www instead of home since ... well, I think you get it.) But that won't happen without notice.
