Layla and I have only really bought one new piece of furniture since we moved into our house earlier this year, so we picked up a few pieces today from a local antiques importer.
This particular piece came complete with a dorknut Aleph.
P.S. It looks a little fruity in the picture, but I guarantee this bookcase thing is actually really understated. The camera flash gives it a little too much ... you know, jazz hands.
Its beautiful. How much higher soes it go? Is it an actual bookshelf? What other peices did you get?
Why, thanks! I guess it's more of a buffet than a bookcase, and you're looking at all of it. Aleph has his head stuck right underneath the top.
We also picked up an older bench for the living room, a new desk for the office, and a couch.
