I was listening to a radio program on journalist casualties earlier tonight when I heard a small sound-bite at the very end that enlightened me to something I hadn't realized until now.
The jist was that when public radio (specifically, NPR) correspondants travel overseas to countries with state-controlled media, it's difficult to convince the locals that said public radio isn't actually ... state-controlled.
It made me giggle. Perception is quite a zinger sometimes.

Kooky.
Nutty nutty McNut nut?
