I'm spending the weekend in Detroit, in part because of the NAIAS. But I'm not going until tomorrow, and I need to write about something tonight.
So here's the deal: I drove nearly an hour between the airport and Raven's place up in Pontiac. In that hour, I encountered hundreds of cars on the reasonably crowded freeways...but only 16 foreign autos. I started counting when I noticed I was entirely surrounded by offalls from the big three.
That's right around one every four minutes. Not a lot.
Oh and I've added a picture of my super-cool yellow Chevy Cobalt rental car.

technically - my place is in Auburn Hills.
It was so cold that morning that the freshly fallen snow didnt even stick to the windshield of the cars.
Oh right, Auburn Hills. My bad.
And yeah, the snow was hella freaky.
Sorry I missed you dude. Hope Raven shared the Mezcal.
