I haven't really had an opportunity to bust out my guitar since I left New Mexico. And that's too bad, since the move from New Mexico took the opportunity to bust my old guitar.
I picked up a replacement in Spain two years ago but never really got around to digging back into it. Until yesterday.
The first song on my list of those to master is Tárrega's Capricho Arabe. Here's a video of someone far better than me playing through it.

Ugh this is going to bug me now. I've heard this song before but it was very stirring version (lots of oomph) - probably in a movie score... *pulls hair out*
Yeah, this rendition isn't particularly emphatic. But from a technical perspective, it's a great recital.
