That's right—it's been 3 years since I lobbed my first handful of posts here on /dev/null. It looks like I missed noting this last year (I was in Tucson) but since I don't really have much else to say tonight, I figure I'll keep the tradition going from 2006.
So what's changed? Well, not a lot since my last update two years ago. I'm down to an average of 1.11 posts/day, have watched the tide of spam ebb and flow, and have watched my comment count grow substantially (thanks, everybody!)
Again presented with the option of dropping my one-post-a-day rule, I've decided that there's no cork wide enough to silence my big yap, and I'll continue to spew forth lovingly crafted prose for yet another year.

Ok ... so I have 2 corrections:
1) I wrote that comment (Dan did not)
2) My scratch out tag didn't show up. Blog is supposed to be scratched out there.
Sheesh, 1 line and 2 error. Dang it!
