I was looking at Gibson Les Pauls earlier and something occured to me.
I've got my full time job.
I've got my BMW.
I've got my mortgage.
And now I'm considering a vintage guitar? Where's my gun toupée?

The nice thing about guitars is can also pass it off as art even if you can't play a darn thing. But if you buy something that nice, a cheap amp just isn't going to make the grade. I guess its time to build that tube amplifier.
Tube amp? Bah. I was going to go for the 1812 Overamplifier. Each string is connected directly to a cannon.
Thursday I may be picking up a hot tub. used. Craigslist special. Its no Gibson Les Pauls, but I'll enjoy it.
Will you be building your own frame for it too, Paul?

I wasnt around to get the details on Paul's hot tub, I just heard that he bought one the same way. This one looks good, and has a frame, but we will see what I am getting into when I go look at it on Thursday.
My understanding from 1980s-era music videos is that you're legally obligated to have two bikini-clad models in the hot tub whenever anyone else is present.
You know, for safety.
I was going to post a long comment about said hot tub here, but I decided to do it in my blog. Check it there.
