It turns out that we may be setting a record today for snow this late in the year.

I got stuck moving 35mph (due to snow, not traffic) heading south on I-5 earlier tonight near Everett. A little bit accumulated here at the house, but it was really dumping up there.

Update: behold the lawn this morning.

Yeah, up by Paine Field my office easily had 3 inches by 5pm, and it was still coming down. Not to mention the marble size hail we had earlier. I miss the 80 degree Saturday last week.
BTW: My office overlooks the approach for the small planes, and obviously no one was flying... except one crazy bastard in a Cessna taking off in the lull between the hail and the full on blizzard. I'm assuming he's from Alaska.

We hit the worst of the snow on I-5 just northeast of Paine Field. It was absolutely dumping by 8pm or so.
