With all the rain you get there, does it make it difficult to mow your lawn? We get storms for about a week at a time, which makes it difficult. Of course, I have retired neighbors who can mow during the sunny parts of the day, so I just ending up looking like the slacker on the block.
Only in the sense that it makes everything grow a lot.
Bear in mind that Seattle rain is more like a light mist than an actual shower. I've mowed in the rain fairly often, and the only real difference between than and when it's dry is that I have to wear different shoes, and have to empty the catch bag more often.
You should see if the old people want to mow your lawn for some spending money.
