All Things Considered, a national public radio show, ran a story earlier today on the policital mood in New Mexico and, specifically, in Socorro.
The story describes El Camino as, "a popular breakfast spot," and highlights why one Republican resident will be voting for McCain, even though he is very unhappy with McCain's record:
You can't make deals with liberals. You're a conservative—you stay a conservative.
Don't forget, Mr. McCain, that like all other good Republicans, you owe the liberals nothing!
It started off with politics then my brain quickly derailed when you said El Camino. I guess that is how Homer Simpson usually feels.
