After watching about a third of Vanishing Point I was convinced this was the dumbest film of all time. There was barely enough dialog to support the 1970s-style car chase scenes, and the backstory was composed entirely in snippets of flashbacks.
But now that I'm done with it, I'm impressed with the film. Once you get over the lack of details to anchor the plot, the story is a really good one.
Also, it features one of the best-penned cars of all time, the early 1970s Dodge Challenger.
You do know that Le Mans is available on netflix right.
Well I do now. I don't imagine it's a Watch Instantly flick, though?
