When was the last time you heard a watch set to beep on the hour?
Seems to me like that went out of style right around 1995 or so.
P.S. Egads! That image came out larger than I thought it would.

I have it set to do that in an attempt to anchor my sense of time. It doesn't work very well, but I do it anyway.
Does anyone ever comment on it (to you)?

The douche canoe that shares the cubical wall with me has one. It also goes off with a full 30 second alarm everyday at 4:15pm. It is NOT amusing.
Sounds like someone's cubical buddy needs a swift kick in the jimmies.

Nobody says anything to me.
Also I never set the alarm for a recurring time, myself.
I just have the woman who sits behind me with a loud classical ringtone that goes off all the time. She leaves it at her desk a lot, so I have to sit there and listen to it until it goes to voicemail. I need to get around to putting it in Jell-o when shes away.
Or change the ringtone to something from Outkast.
...so clean, clean.
