There's a guy who lives somewhere in my neighborhood who apparently drives his crappy first-generation Altima1 without his headlights on at night. I've seen him driving around twice (last night, and a few months ago) cruising down a relatively well-lit road at 35mph without any headlights or even marker lamps turned on.
It's possible he's just too poor to repair or replace them, but I sortof suspect that's not the case.

not running any of the electrical accessories is one of the hyper-milling techniques. in my opinion the guy in the altima is a fool and should be reported to the police.
I was hoping he would have been picked up by now and given a stern talking-to. Ordinary citizens reporting broken motorists often doesn't go as well as planned.
