Hello Nagoya

For some reason I'm in Nagoya tonight.

I'm staying in a smoking room of a business hotel outside of the Kanayama station, and it's quite a bargain for providing a full non-capsule room (¥6800) although admittedly, the internet connection is way wonky and every 30 seconds refuses to allow me to open new connections.

Tomorrow I'll probably try to hit whatever automotive stuff I can in the area (Toyota, Honda, and Mitsubishi are all based here, among others) and then will likely head back up to Shinjuku for the two days before I fly back stateside.

P.S. Sorry for the fuzzy. This sign is placed immediately above the sink in a very un-Japanese-like combination shower and toilet room. Actually, it's more like a full wet shower (i.e., you can shower outside the tub) with a toilet in it.

P.P.S. I originally hesitated to call this part of the city a suburb, but after I walked around a bit looking for some dinner, I can absolutely confirm this is a suburb.

P.P.P.S. Apparently my flagrant file uploading caused the hotel's router to start capping my outbound connections. A new MAC address and I'm back in business.
