"Inline" four?

| | Comments (0)

This is one of the more remarkable engines on display at the Toyota Automobile Museum. I believe it's in an early 20th-century Isotta Frachini car, and it's an inline four with two separate cylinder blocks. I couldn't tell if the crankcases were separate, too.

In the background is a fantastic example of a Stutz Bearcat, complete with minimalist monacle windshield.
