it actually sounds familiar to me. I know I've seen it elsewhere. Drives me nuts as well -- as if "Qualitaet - Hergestellt in Deutschland" would sound any worse. And the brake buyer in the US would still get it.

Zimmerman makes a good rotor.
They also make a cheap rotor, which is really the important part here.
