Although I was able to Dremel through the offending flange and remove the front calipers, it seems that I do, in fact, need new front brake rotors.
Part of this is because they're nearing the nearing the wear limit and are pretty gouged, and part of this is because I actually can't get the old bearing races pushed out of the back of the rotor. They're really worn and aren't suitable for the new wheel bearings I bought, but if I can't remove them from the hub housings, there's not much point in considering salvaging these rotors.
So I'm ordering new ones. Here's a shot of the naked spindle and brake dust shield.
