I had an arborist limb up a tree in our front yard because the branches were growing awfully close to our cable line, and I don't want a wind storm to knock any branches down and take out our cable.
In the process of removing these limbs, one fell and took out our cable.
Thankfully Comcast was (almost astoundingly) quick about things and will have a tech out tomorrow morning to reattach the line. And they credited us 3 days of service. Color me surprised.
In completely unrelated news (really), my web host crapped itself earlier this week but appears to have returned with much more awesome service. So now I've got reasonably decent CGI times and hopefully the days of the 500 error pages are over.
I wonder if this will trigger another 500 error...
