My bonsai is losing more leaves than it should.
I think the problem is that I'm keeping it right up against my office window. It certainly gets the most sun sitting right next to the glass, but it's also subject to the heat loss through the (reasonably thin) pane.
Since houseplants like this really can't tolerate temperatures much below 60 degrees fahrenheit (or so the instructions say), I'm thinking that the exposure to the cold through the window is making the leaves fall off.
It also took a while to get the soil sufficiently moist (it was dried out for a long time) and the roots aren't particularly well secured, so those are possibilities, as well. Whatever the cause, I'm hoping I can fix this soon.
