Weyerhaeuser Headquarters

| | Comments (0)

This is the building I mentioned yesterday—it's the headquarters for Weyerhaeuser, a local timber and paper company.

Say what you will about Weyerhaeuser1, this is an incredibly striking building. The one shot I got of the front captures the moodiness of the area when I visited on Sunday but it came out incredibly crappy compared to this shot. Speaking of which, sorry for the phone shots. You can see a bigger (aerial) shot of it here.

When I build my superfortress from the side of a volcano it will look something like this.

1 The Wikipedia article says the EPA identified Weyerhaeuser to be a potentially responsible party for at least 18 Superfund sites. It's all hearsay, but Wikipedia can't be wrong.
