My friend Rich's birthday was at the local Family Fun Center. It's like a Chuck-e-Cheese with different franchise rights...and fewer gropings.
Let's skip past the games, food, and overall atmosphere—what was most interesting was the patronage.
It seemed like half the people there were attending a 1980s party. Lots of leg warmers and headbands. Layla overheard one guy in a white polo and white shorts trying to scam a headband from someone else so he wouldn't be left out.
There was also a group of guys sporting bad attitudes and that gangsta halfway-limp walk that makes them look like they have a bad hip. One of them was wearing a totally awesome Scarface jacket.
Lastly, there were the newlyweds with their photographer. Amusing.
P.S. Remember to visit yesterday's guessing game post.
