All done. It's been about 75 days since I blocked the car to pull the tank, fix the blower motor, and otherwise clean things up. I did most of the reassembly yesterday (and even went for a spin to ... fill up the tank) but I didn't have a chance to finish the center console until this evening. I also pulled the door apart today and re-repaired the door latch, since that somehow got out of adjustment in the last year.
In any event, it's good to have the 914 running again. Because now I feel like selling it.
Selling it for what? I recall your big list of cars, but I didnt know if you had something picked out.
I'll probably sell it for money. That whole barter economy thing didn't really work out.
No really, I hadn't fully decided yet what's next on the list. I've got my eye on a few MGBs and Supras—but I may forego a car altogether and spend the year biking.
