We went to the local Strawberry Festival yesterday. It's a big annual event and has practically nothing to do with strawberries at this point. As far as I can tell, the only part strawberries play is being served up at a single booth in either raw form or as part of a shortcake concoction.
They had a small number of old cars at the auto show, including three pre-1971 red Mustangs, three (gorgeous) C2 Corvettes, a 427 Cobra of uncertain breeding, and a Hillman Minx. There were a few others too but the ones I mentioned were most notable.
I'd have pictures if I didn't abuse my cameras so much.

We thought about stopping by to check it out, but ended up not. Instead I bought what's probably the best electric weed trimmer available (Stihl FSE60) and cut down as much of the "empty-lot" of my front yard as I had cord for (I got a 100ft of 12g cord Monday so I'll be able to do the whole yard). Some of the weeds are/were over 4 feet tall.
Too bad—there was a lot of stuff there. ...except strawberries, really.
