Fuzz ISP

The local constabulatory police force has a web page, which is the proper thing to do these days. They even got own domain name, which is plastered all over their police cars: www.bellevuepolice.net.

.net was originally intended for ISPs and infrastructure providers—and even though it's been coopted since then by everybody else, I can't help but remember its original purpose, and how the Bellevue Police probably doesn't do any of that.

P.S. I'll eventually get around to securing my 501(c)(16) status for milkmandan.org.

Back in 1998 when I registered mouser.org, I had to provide the name of the organization requesting the name. I put down "Mouser Virtual Cyber Technologies" and they accepted that... :)

If I were the registrar, I would have insisted on your real org name, "Mouser Cornball Jokes Limited."

I agree with the gist of this

I've deleted your spam link but I'm amused by your comment.
